Calamari (Squid) rings with tomatoes and peppers

 

Ingredients

½ kg calamari, cut into rings

6 fresh crushed tomatoes

2 green peppers sliced into rings

5 crushed garlic cloves

½ Tsp sugar

½ cup olive oil

2 crushed chilly peppers

Salt

 

Method

1.       In a small pan, heat the oil, garlic salt and chilly peppers

2.       Add the crushed tomatoes, green pepper and the sugar, when the garlic changes colour

3.       Cook for 20 minutes

4.       When the sauce is ready add the calamari rings and cook on a medium heat for 3 minutes

5.       Remove from the heat and serve immediately.
